Museum of Somerset
Taunton

In 2011, the Museum of Somerset reopened in a medieval castle in the heart of Taunton, South England. Using audio-visual media to enhance original exhibits, the museum documents the district’s history from prehistoric times to the present day.

Featuring REIER-designed technology, the delivered display cases house, among other valuables, Great Britain’s largest collection of Roman Coins. Air conditioned cases and equipped with fibre optic illumination devices, the cases also include partly back-lit displays.
