From Lauta to the world

The company Vitrinen- und Glasbau REIER GmbH was founded in 1988 in Lauta, Saxony by Volker Reier as a sole proprietorship. Today it is an innovative medium-sized company with 100 qualified employees, and it is one of the few highly specialised developers and manufacturers of museum equipment and display case technology in the world. REIER is ISO 9001 certified.

The company’s objective is to design and manufacture cutting edge products that protect and preserve the valuable cultural assets, and meet all requirements for design, functionality, safety and conservation protection. REIER’s high quality control system guarantees the high craftsmanship of our products.

In cooperation with recognized research institutes, the impact of lighting, climate and harmful emissions are analyzed on the exhibits. Findings of the research are then applied to the development of new technologies and new products, an indication of our competence and strong innovative drive.
