Projects

Buchmuseum der Lettischen Nationalbibliothek
Riga

The new building of the Latvian National Library began with a design by Riga-born, U.S. architect Gunnar Birkerts. After 6 years of construction, the imposing building was finally inaugurated in the summer of 2014 on the occasion of the 95th anniversary of the National Library.

Twenty-eight REIER display cases, of varying interior design, feature concealed hinged door fittings, integrated climate control and object-friendly lighting. Thus, meeting the special requirements for the presentation of valuable writings and books, where the careful selection of materials those are free of harmful substances is paramount.
