Musée du Louvre - Dept. of Decorative Arts’
Louis XIV to Louis XVI

For display cases for a new art department to exhibit furniture and art objects from Louis XIV to Marie-Antoinette, the Louvre trusted REIER. To ensure the visitors a comprehensive admiration and contemplation of the collection, a structured visit spanning 2.183 square meters was created. The exhibition consists of 33 halls and has more than 2,000 objects on display.

REIER was assigned with fabrication and delivery of more than 80 display cases of different designs and sizes. All display cases are equipped with fibre optic lighting, security devices and air conditioning. Due to size and weight, the majority of the cases were assembled on site.
