The British Museum
Sutton Hoo and Europe AD 300-1100
London

The British Museum in London is surely one of the most renowned cultural and historical museums of the world. The main theme of their Gallery 41 is the Anglo-Saxon ship grave of the “Sutton Hoo” in Suffolk, a spectacular and important discovery of British archaeology.

For this newly designed exhibition, which reopened in 2014, REIER delivered 25 display cases of different types and sizes, equipped with concealed hinged door, integrated climate control and lighting systems. Noteworthy is the 4-meter-high central Great showcase, which houses among other items, the famous helmet of Sutton Hoo.
