Museum of Islamic Art and Cabinet of Book Art Berlin

The exhibition in the Southern wing of the Pergamon Museum, located on the Museum Island in Berlin, features Islamic artwork from Spain to India, from the 7th through the 19th century. This traditional collection is one of the world’s most important museums of Islamic art.

For the equipment of the “Miniaturenkabinett” (Miniatures Cabinet) of book art, display cases with complex opening technology were designed and developed. The front part, undivided and with double-sided anti-reflective extra white security glass, can be lowered via an electric motor to allow of an undisturbed admiration of the precious objects, illuminated with, in terms of conservation, gentle fibre optic.
