Maximilian Museum
Augsburg

Founded more than 150 years ago, the Maximilian Museum is the ancestral home of the art of Augsburg. After extensive modernizations to its facilities, the museum reopened as a modern exhibit venue in November 2006.

With limited accessibility to the showrooms, REIER was required to assemble all 58 showcases on site. In spite of the challenge presented by the historic environment, the successful installation resulted in a setting where old and new elements are in harmony.
