Museum Liaunig / Neuhaus

As the repository for industrialist and art connoisseur Herbert W. Liaunig’s extensive collection, the Liaunig Museum in Neuhaus is, after the Essl Collection – Klosterneuburg, Austria’s second largest assemblage of post-war art.

For the museum’s new construction in 2008, REIER delivered 36 free-standing and wall-standing display cases, equipped with sophisticated lighting and security systems. Besides post-war art, the Liaunig collection also has more than 600 pieces of spectacular African gold, known as the “Gold of the Akan”.
