Poole Museum / Poole

After more than seven years of renovation, the Poole Museum was ceremoniously reopened on 5 November 2025.
All three historic buildings – Oakley’s Mill, Scaplen’s Court and the Town Cellars – have been restored in line with conservation guidelines. Highlights include three new maritime galleries (“Harbour Life”, “Setting Sail” and “Shipwreck!”), the almost ten-metre-long Iron Age log boat and an extensive collection of archaeological finds from shipwrecks.
Interactive presentations, barrier-free access and a varied programme of events make the museum a modern, inclusive cultural centre for the entire region.

For the Poole Museum REIER manufactured and installed two drawer display cases, a hydraulic lifting display case, a sliding door display case as well as 16 display cases with hinged doors. Some of the display cases are also equipped with state-of-the-art LED lighting.
